GPSC Exam New Syllabus Download PDF






    The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) was constituted on 1 May 1960 under Article 315(1) of the Constitution of India. To select applicants for civil service in the Indian state of Gujarat according to
    the eligibility and reservation rules of the applicants. It was formed in 1960. [1] According to Article 316 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of a state has the power to select the member and chairman of the PSC of his state. The following functions have been assigned to the Gujarat Public Service Commission under Article 320 of the Constitution of India. [citation needed] To conduct examinations for appointments to the services of the State. to advise- 




    Matters relating to the methods of recruitment to the various civil services of the State; the principles to be followed in making appointments and making promotions, transfers from one service to another and the suitability of candidates for such appointments, promotions and transfers to the civil services of the State; all disciplinary matters affecting Government servants, Claims for reimbursement of legal expenses incurred by Government servants in legal proceedings initiated against them for an act done or alleged to have been done by them in the performance of their duty; Injury pension claims to government servants; And Any other matter which may be referred to the Commission by His Excellency the Governor These functions are subject to the limits imposed by the Gujarat Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1960, made under the provision of clause




    Article 320 of the Constitution of India. The commission (Gujarat Public Service Commission- GPSC) has postponed all the prelims exams to be held from 11 April to 30 April 2021. The official notification in this regard has been uploaded on the official website of the commission. In such a situation, the candidates appearing in the prelims examinations to be conducted by the Gujarat Public Service Commission in the month of April can visit the official website of GPSC at gpsc.nic.in and check the official notice regarding the postponement of the examination. According to this notice, the decision to postpone the prelims examinations has been taken due to the increasing number of corona virus infected cases in the state.



    GPSC New Syllabus 

    Commission chairman Dinesh Dasa wrote in a tweet, 'GPSC has postponed all pre examinations to be held in April. The commission will conduct the examination of Advt No 27 Mains & 112 / 19-20 and 41 more. GPSC PI Test will be of 300 marks and candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the test. Selected candidates in prelims exam will be called for physical test followed by GPSC Police Inspector Mains exam 2020 and interview. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Mains written test and marks obtained in interview.
