e mass promotion to regular Std. 10 (SSC) students this year. Due to which 5 lakh regular students of Std-10 will not have to give board examination this year and will get direct admission in Std-11. However, the board examination of Std-12 will be held in the near future considering the condition of Corona.Regarding the decision of Std-10, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the government has decided to cancel the Std-10 examination in the interest of the health of the students as the vaccination of corona for this class of students has not been started yet. The decision was taken at a meeting of the core committee chaired by the chief minister.


Giving more details about the decision taken in the core committee meeting, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that mass promotion will be given to regular (regular) students of Std-10 in a total of 10,8 schools out of 12 government, 4 grant-in-aid, 21 self-finance and 6 other schools in the state. The government had earlier decided on April 14 to postpone the Std-10 and Std-1 board exams, which were scheduled to be held from May 10 to May 1, due to the transition of corona. That's when it was decided to review the Corona at 1 p.m. In that regard, a decision of Std. 10 has been taken. Std. 12 examination will be taken which will be decided in the near future.

In which the issue of vaccination for Std. 12 students will also be taken into consideration. Students studying in Std-1 to 8 and Std-11 have also been given mass promotion due to Corona.The Education Minister further said that with the gradual decline in the number of coronary cases in the state over the last two weeks, the number of cases of patients recovering and returning from hospitals is also on the rise. However, considering the state of transition in the country, it has been decided to give mass promotion. Along with this, the decision of the repeater students appearing in the Std-10 examination will be taken after the reduction in the cases of Corona examination.


More than 8 lakh students in the state will get the benefit of promotion only.

Ahmedabad: The state government has announced that only regular students of Std-10 will be given mass promotion. This time the number of regular students of Std-10 in the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is around 3 lakh. So that all these students will get the benefit of mass promotion. This year more than 15 lakh students were registered for Std-10 for board examination. There are 3.5 lakh repeater students.


Repeater 3.5 lakh students will have to take the exam.Ahmedabad: More than 12 lakh students had filled online forms in Std-10 this time. However, even before the examination of these students is taken, the state government has decided to give mass promotion to regular students in Std-10. The repeater has decided to take the exam when the corona condition becomes normal for the students. So that 2.5 lakh students of the state will have to appear for the board exams in the coming days.
