With the objective of involving the children studying at home in meaningful educational activities

with the help of parents and teachers due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, NCERT under the guidance of the Union Ministry of Education, students, teachers and parents of students, teachers and parents of Class I to Class XII. An alternative academic calendar has been created for Its direct link is provided at the bottom of the article.The alternate academic calendar for primary and secondary classes for the weeks and the following weeks has already been released

 Earlier the Union Education Minister had released the alternate academic calendar for secondary and higher secondary level. Today, the Union Education Minister released the alternate academic calendar for the next 8 weeks for the secondary level through virtual medium.In his address on the occasion, he said that this alternative calendar will provide guidelines for teachers to use various technologies and social media platforms. Its objective is to make teaching work interesting, fun-filled, which can be used by students, parents and teachers in teaching work at home. 

However, mobile phones, radio, television, SMS and various social media platforms are being used at different levels in teaching work at home.The Education Minister underlined that as many of us may not have internet access in mobile phones or may be unable to access social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc., this calendar will guide the teachers to How can help students and parents through SMS or phone call. For the implementation of this calendar, parents are expected to help the students with the level of elementary education.

Audio books, radio programs, video programs will also be available in this.This calendar also includes interesting and competitive activities for each week which are based on the syllabus taken from the text books.
