In order to raise the standard of education in the state and to meet the shortage of teachers, the government has recruited a total of 1,8,8 education assistants from 19 to date. In which recruitment process is carried

out on acentral basis. Now the higher Pvt. In the year 2015-16, 10,000 new teaching assistants will be appointed to be included in education. Education Minister Ramanlal Vora made the announcement in the Assembly. He said that under Right to Education, it is planned to start Std-8 classes in 560 schools. Due to the efforts of the government, Gujarat is at the forefront in the country in the percentage of students who have attained higher education after passing Std-12. 



Responding to a discussion on the budget of the education department in the House, Education Minister Ramanlal Vora said that in order to ensure good governance in primary schools, 4,000 principals will be appointed, out of which 50 per cent will be directly recruited. In the year 2015-16, 15,600 classrooms, 3 compound walls and 1400 school buildings will be repaired. Due to the efforts of the government, the drop-out ratio has dropped from 10.17 per cent in 2009-05 to 9.4 per cent in 2010-11. In other words, only 4.5 per cent children out of 100 drop out of school. 200 Pvt. 500 will be given instead of Rs. 500 given for sanitation in schools. 



This year 250 new secondary schools and 3 new model schools will be started. Scholarships for Sanskrit students will be given by increasing the rate from 3 to 150 for the middle class and for the Shastri class instead of 45 to 400 and for the principal level from 50 to 300 Rs. The Central Government allocates Rs. 205 per capita in Gujarat Minister Ramanlal Vora said that under the Right to Education Act, the central government allocates only Rs. 205 per capita in Gujarat, while allocating Rs. 20 to 21 to other states.
