Important events include speeches, essays, writing, science quizzes, science demonstrations, seminars and symposia of scientists. National and other awards are also announced for outstanding contributions in the field of science. Special awards are also held to increase the popularity of science.

On February 9, 19, Dr. Chandrasekhar Venkataram (Sir CV Raman) completed the discovery of the Raman effect. In his memory, this day is celebrated as 'National Science Day'.He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 190 for this invaluable discovery. He astonished the world with 6 publications during his lifetime.

Sir C.V. was born on November 9, 19 in a Hindu, Brahmin family in the state of Tamil Nadu, Tiruchirappalli in the southern part of India. Raman was born. Studies and Experiments At the young age of eleven, Ram passed the matriculation examination first. For further studies he joined the famous Presidency College, Chennai in the year 1908. Elliott was a professor of English at the college. As soon as he saw this little student, he said, "Baba, how old are you?" In 1908, Raman passed the B.Sc. Also got a gold medal for this. he was automatically experimenting in college. As a result of these experiments, he researched the diffraction of light. He also found success in this. Ram wrote an article based on this discovery and sent it to be published in a London research journal. This article was accepted and published in the November 1908 issue. Ram then experimented with three-sided glass. Rather than experiment, he discovered a special kind of light. In this way Rama achieved many more than experimenting.
