Responding to a discussion on the budget of the education department in the House, Education Minister Vora said that in order to ensure good governance in primary schools, 4,000 principals will be appointed, out of which 50 per cent will be directly recruited. This year 250 new secondary schools and 3 new model schools will be started. Scholarships for Sanskrit students will be given by increasing the rate from 3 to 150 for the middle class and for the Shastri class instead of 45 to 400 and for the principal level from 50 to 300 Rs.
