The minister also added that the target is to complete the recruitment in the next six months. With this, the state government has decided to cancel the recruitment process started for the posts of Talati and Senior and Junior Clerks of the Panchayat Department in 2018. The recruitment process of Talati and Senior and Junior Clerks will be integrated with the new recruitment. This recruitment process will be done by Gujarat Service Selection Board. Older candidates will also be given benefits. Minister Brijesh Merja has also said that the fee for the last recruitment form filled by the candidate will be refunded.




 Brijesh Merja announced that recruitment for Panchayat Department posts was earlier done at the district level but now the recruitment process will be renewed. Merja made the announcement at a meeting of District Development Officers (DDOs) convened today under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Panchayats Brijesh Merja. State DDO will be present at Gandhinagar Swarnim 2. District development works and Gram Panchayat development schemes will be discussed in this conference.
