The board is going to declare the GSET 2022 Result in the upcoming weeks. Candidates will be able to check the same from the official website of GSET @ .

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda conducts State Eligibility Test for 

Assistant Professor posts every year. GUJ SET Exam Agency has conducted the 15th State Eligibility Test for

Assistant Professor this year. The Competitive Examination for the year 2021 (GSET-2021) was conducted on 23 January 2022 at various 11 examination centres in the state. Lakhs of candidates appeared in the examination on the respective date.

The applications for the GSET competitive exam were invited from 21 June to 31 July 2021. Instead of 26 December 2021, this examination was finally conducted on 23 January. Successful candidates in this examination are given a chance to appear in the examination for appointment to the posts of Assistant Professor in various colleges and universities of the state.

In order to be considered eligible for Gujarat State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) / General-EWS category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories viz., SC, ST, SEBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer), PwD (PH/VH) and Third gender
